When to use it
Rubbish is lèsè in Taiwan, not the mainland lājī — same characters, different reading, and one of the fastest ways to sound like you live here. The truck plays Für Elise or A Maiden's Prayer, you hand your bags to the crew, and recycling goes to the smaller truck behind it.
