When to use it
Say it as you order. Taiwanese spicy is mild next to Sichuan or Thai food, but chilli sauce goes on by default at plenty of night-market stalls and noodle shops, so it's easier to decline up front than to ask for it plain afterwards. For a little, xiǎo là.
